About the Role

We are seeking a Structural Engineer or Experienced Draftsperson to join our Mackay team, with some intermittent mine site work required.

You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting structural audits and inspections.
  • Taking precise site measurements for replacement components.
  • Producing accurate and high-quality engineering drawings for fabrication and installation.

About You

  • Proven experience as a mechanical and/or structural engineer or draftsperson in the mining industry.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and codes such as AS4100 and AS1657.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver accurate work on time.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage workloads independently.
  • Current, or able to obtain, a Queensland Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 Surface Induction.
