About the role

The role is to be an integral part of the Flexihire Mackay branch by ensuring the prompt service, repair and maintenance of all equipment in a workshop and field service environment. It's not just mechanical work, you are also responsible for parts ordering, keeping service/repair history up to date and taking ownership of the workshop, liaising with other staff, customers and ensuring equipment is well presented and reliable.

To Succeed

To succeed in this role the main attribute will be energy and a willingness to help the customer and help your team mates.

  • Proven mechanical troubleshooting acumen
  • Mechanical trade qualification Cert III or equivalent
  • Upbeat nature and willingness to roll up your sleeves
  • Excellent level of Customer service
  • An understanding of industrial equipment with both diesel and petrol engines
  • Adopt and comply with a high level of safe work culture within our company
  • Forklift licence is advantageous  but not mandatory
  • Current drivers licence.
  • Excellent communication skills & team spirit
  • Comfortable using computers
  • Well Presented
  • Variety - support all team members in all tasks
  • Take pride in your workshop, machines and service
