About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (Marketing Specialist) to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing marketing strategies, building brand awareness, and driving business growth through effective B2B engagement and partnerships across Australia's entertainment and event sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing & Brand Development
- Develop and execute strategic brand and marketing plans to strengthen EVENT LIGHTING's market position and brand preference.
- Conduct market research and customer analysis to guide product positioning, competitive strategy, and market expansion.
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, PR, and experiential channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, design, product, CRM, and digital) to ensure cohesive messaging and execution.
- Oversee the development of marketing materials, including creative content, product assets, and retail promotions.
Digital & Campaign Management
- Drive digital marketing initiatives, including paid media, SEO/SEM, social media engagement, and influencer partnerships.
- Plan and manage promotional events, product launches, and trade exhibitions to boost visibility and engagement.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyse KPIs, and report marketing insights to senior management.
- Manage marketing budgets and vendor relationships, optimising resource allocation and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships across the entertainment and event technology sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
- Support clients' engagement through presentations, marketing collateral, and product demonstrations.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, sales, or business development (Overseas marketing and network expansion experience is preferred).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, and B2B sales.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, creative, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and marketing tools
