About the role

As the Construction Manager at DH Homes', you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of the company's construction projects in the Noosa Heads area. This full-time position requires an experienced construction professional with a proven track record of managing complex builds and delivering high-quality results.

What you'll be doing

Manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Ability to estimate necessary.

  • Coordinate and oversee the work of subcontractors, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards

  • Identify and mitigate risks, and implement effective problem-solving strategies to address any issues that arise

  • Maintain clear and regular communication with Managing Director, project stakeholders, and the wider DH Homes' team

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards

  • Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to senior management

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of DH Homes' construction processes and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Extensive experience (8+ years) in a construction management role, ideally within the residential construction industry

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate construction teams, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and industry regulations. Building qualification preferable.

  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and implement detailed project plans

  • Proficient in the use of construction management software and tools

  • Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
