Mechanical Engineer

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Building Services Engineer to join our Engineering department on a full time basis in our Gold Coast office.

The Role – Mechanical/ Design Engineer

·       Full Mechanical System Design responsibility

·       Client facing Design Meeting attendance

·       Liaising with clients, design teams and construction delivery team personnel

·       Project Engineering Heat Loads Using Camel for all project types

·       System Designs including static calculations, air distribution, pump heads and controls operation

·       Energy efficiency checks for NCC compliance

·       Mark ups for drafting/Estimating with design compliance to NCC

·       Equipment selections and checking

·       Experienced in all types of commercial projects to $10 Million full Design & Construct projects

·

The Candidates

·       Must have good communication skills, written and oral

·       Must have experience in Commercial air conditioning in a similar role

·       Must be able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

·       Must be an Australian Resident

·       Must have a high level of attention to detail with the desire to provide the best outcome possible

·       Must have a high level of understanding of the NCC and appropriate Australian Standards

·       Must have at least 10 years post graduate experience

·       Experience in estimating would also be highly regarded

·       Experience in Revit would also be highly regarded

Must be RPEQ

·       Remuneration package negotiable with candidate's experience.

·       Ongoing training and professional development to be in front of industry trends
