Greencorp Landscape Solutions proudly maintains the parks, gardens, streetscapes, and public spaces of the City of Gold Coast. We are seeking a skilled Motor Mechanic to service, maintain, and repair a diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment—ranging from light tools to heavy machinery. This hands-on role ensures all assets remain safe, reliable, and operational while contributing to the smooth and efficient running of our workshop.
Key ResponsibilitiesFleet & Workshop
- Undertake maintenance tasks including inspections and repairs to company vehicles, plant, and equipment.
- Perform fault diagnosis and rectification on mechanical equipment used in company operations.
- Provide mobile mechanical support by attending project sites to service company plant and equipment in emergency situations (e.g. tyre repairs on tractors, mowers, trucks, and utes).
- Assess and identify parts and materials required to complete repairs or improvements.
- Contribute proactively to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient workshop environment.
- Maintain accurate daily records including job cards, timesheets, and any other required documentation.
- Identify, support, and encourage continuous improvement in work practices.
- Maintain strong customer focus across all duties.
- Provide technical advice and support to company employees (including Plant Operators) regarding the operation and maintenance of vehicles, plant, and equipment.
- Ensure effective communication with the Head Mechanic.
Plant, Tools & Equipment
- Operate and maintain equipment, plant, and machinery in accordance with company and manufacturer requirements.
- Ensure all workshop tools and equipment are cleaned and securely stored in their proper location.
- Ensure all plant and equipment are cleaned and maintained to an acceptable standard.
Other Responsibilities
- Comply with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) policies and procedures in all aspects of the workplace.
- Undertake duties within the skill level, competence, and training consistent with the applicable level under the relevant Award.
Essential
- Formal qualifications as a Mechanic.
- Demonstrated experience with a wide range of vehicles, plant, and equipment.
- Current Queensland Driver's Licence.
Desirable
- Current Queensland 'HR' Class Driver's Licence.
- Forklift Licence.
- Current General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
