We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic team leader to manage a 5 day a week high volume cafe/takeaway in UQ St Lucia with 5-6 other staff members and under the general manager (1 of 6 stores), where uniformity and consistency is a must.

The ideal candidate must have good Barista skills, food handling experience and excellent customer service skills.

The hours are predominately Monday to Friday 6:30am to 2:30pm day time hours but we will need you to step up for some afternoon shifts and weekends, if and when required.

Duties include:

  • Serving Customers
  • Preparing Food
  • Making Coffee
  • Catering
  • Ordering Stock
  • Stock rotation
  • Cafe Roster
  • Staff Training
  • POS
  • Banking
  • Follow strict food safety practices and complete relevant documentations.

You will need to be able to implement these systems without guidance on a daily basis and lead by example.
