Business Development Manager-Non-Bank Lending (Capital Fund)

As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for managing fund portfolios, enhancing engagement, and driving new business opportunities. Working closely in the property development investment sector.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and monitoring assigned broker portfolios through various channels to provide exceptional service.
  • Developing a deep understanding of products, policies, and loan structuring to offer informed guidance (Development loans, first mortgage loans, Bridging loans and project management)
  • Discussing loan scenarios and structures with mortgage brokers and clients.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand our network.
  • Understanding the full cycle of loan settlement in the investment sector.
  • Efficiently managing tasks and undertaking additional duties as directed by management.

Required Skills

  • An experienced lending BDM with non-bank lender experience.
  • An existing broker network to leverage and drive lead generation for our loan product.
  • In-depth understanding of the mortgage broker channel, mortgage managers, and aggregators + network to leverage.
  • Experience in implementing and promoting new loan products - desirable.
  • Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in financial services.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Persistence and determination to engage brokers and drive activation.
  • A positive, proactive attitude with a strong sense of initiative.
  • Problem-solving and collaboration skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-performing team and deliver high-quality work.
  • A friendly, energetic, and authentic approach to building relationships.
