Company Overview:

This reputable major bank is highly regarded and is a great opportunity for an experienced residential or mobile lender to join a high performing culture and work alongside a well respected and collaborative team with access to excellent internal development opportunities and coaching.

Role Overview:

You will be responsible for writing residential loan applications and supporting the team with new-to-bank opportunities. You will be accountable for self-sourcing new to bank business opportunities, business development and driving mortgage sales and identifying cross selling opportunities to deliver growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Building strong customer relationships and fostering new relationships
  • Contribute to achieving and exceeding sales targets for the team through relevant roadshows, marketing and self sourcing new to bank business opportunities
  • Developing business acumen and provide advice based on individual customer needs
  • Perform credit analysis and manage end-to-end home loan applications as required
  • Developing a strong referral network for the bank and develop new business

Skills and Experience required:

  • Demonstrated track record of self sourcing and writing home loan applications and exceeding targets in a similar bank or non-bank environment
  • Strong referral network
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills
  • Solid financial acumen and credit writing skills
