About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join the team at Telehealth

in our Brisbane office. You must have the experience in the medical software BEST

PRACTICE. This role is extremely flexible, full-time, part time or casual, and you are

fully flexible to work from home or come to our South Side Office in Underwood.

This role is to support our administration team with a range of essential duties. You

will be a key point of contact for our staff and clients, ensuring the smooth running of

our day-to-day operations.

What you'll be doing:

  1. Manage appointments and scheduling for home visits and telehealth

consultations.

  1. Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries professionally.

  2. Liaise with the Department of Health for compliance, reporting, and approvals.

  3. Coordinate signing doctors' schedules and patient assignments.

  4. Bulk-billing and private billing claims, ensuring accurate submission and

processing.

  1. Maintain accurate patient records, databases, and files.

  2. Prepare monthly reports about patients, correspondence, and documentation

for management.

  1. Support quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with

organisational policies

What we're looking for:

  1. Previous administration experience, in healthcare or medical services.

  2. Strong organisational, communication, and multitasking skills.

  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  4. Knowledge of medical billing, bulk billing, or patient management systems

through the medical software called "BEST PRACTICE".
