About the role

We have an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Accounts Clerk to become part of a fun and cohesive Finance team.  Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, duties include:

· Being the key liaison point between the Firm and Banks

· Checking details to ensure accuracy

· Recording transactions (capital deposits, interest, and closures transferred to Trust)

· Working closely with our property team to facilitate rollovers and manage developments

· Month end Controlled Money Accounts (CMA) trial balance reconciliations

· End of financial year issue of CMA statements to clients

· Dealing with audit queries related to CMAs

· Filing and maintenance of records

· Generation and issue of receipts

About you

The successful candidate will need:

· Previous experience within a law firm

· To be well organised and have excellent communication skills both verbal and written

· Have a high attention to detail with an aptitude for figures

· Work well within a team, be friendly, approachable and easy to deal with

· An understanding of trust account rules is advantageous
