About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and people-focused Sales & Operations Manager - Bird to play a pivotal role in winning and driving new business growth across our Bird Management Solutions, delivering this through strategic planning, relationship building and solution-orientated selling techniques. You will be directly responsible for leading a team of professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional bird management solutions to our clients across ANZ. You will be responsible for identifying and capturing opportunities with new clients leveraging your sales expertise to expand our market presence across Australia.

Your Responsibilities In This Role Will Include

  • Lead and manage a team of professionals, providing guidance, support and development opportunities to ensure high performance and achievement of business objectives
  • Identify and prioritize target accounts, industries and geographic regions to prospect and win
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to customize solutions
  • Identify training needs and implement development plans to upskill team members
  • Manage and deliver sales vs budget targets, adjusting strategies as needed to drive results
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and offerings
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers to secure new business opportunities
  • Manage and provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates to senior management
  • Develop and manage account prospecting strategies to expand our customer base and increase revenue
  • Cultivate a safety-first culture across all customer accounts, with a commitment to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

Our Ideal Candidate May Have

  • Experience selling and executing bird management solutions
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
  • A strategic mindset that is results-oriented
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with a focus on winning new business
  • High level of communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel to meet with clients and attend industry events
