About us

Quality Dolphin Pools designs and builds high-quality residential and commercial swimming pools across WA. Due to strong growth, we're seeking an experiencedForm & Steel Worker to join our site team.

The role

You'll prepare pool shells for concrete by setting out and building formwork, installing reinforcing steel to plan, and assisting with concrete pours to deliver safe, compliant, and on-time projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Read and interpret pool plans, levels, and steel schedules
  • Build/strip timber and modular formwork, set out profiles and heights
  • Cut, bend, tie and fix rebar/mesh (chairs, spacers, laps, cover)
  • Install penetrations, boxes, and fittings (returns, skimmers, lights)
  • Prepare for and assist during shotcrete/concrete pours and curing
  • Operate hand/power tools and small plant safely (saws, compactors, vibrators)
  • Keep sites tidy, manage materials, and complete QA checklists
  • Follow WHS procedures and contribute to a strong safety culture

What you'll need

  • Proven experience in pool construction, civil concreting, or steel fixing
  • Ability to read drawings and set out accurately (laser level experience)
  • Sound knowledge of steel placement, cover, laps, and tying methods
  • Physically fit; comfortable with outdoor, hands-on work
  • White Card (Construction Induction) – essential
  • Current driver's licence & reliable transport – essential
  • Desirable: HR/MR licence, EWP/Working at Heights, dogging/rigging tickets
