About the Role

We are looking to appoint a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to work within our Victorian branch based in Croydon South with extensive sales and people management experience. Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Lead, motivate, and develop sales staff to achieve budgeted sales targets for assigned territories and ensure exceptional service levels.
  • Build effective relationships with relevant internal and external customers.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Monitor sales metrics and KPI's, providing regular performance reports and recommendations for improvement.
  • Achieve growth in revenue, profit, and sales volume.
  • Manage the financial performance of the department, through delivering against targets, while controlling expenses and debtors in line with company objectives.
  • Contribute to the implentation of commercially sound business initiatives.

About You

The Successful applicant will possess the following:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proven track record of success in sales management, preferably in the liquor industry.
  • Demonstrated management skills particularly coaching and developing sales staff.
  • A strong level of business / financial acumen to ensure delivery of financial targets.
  • Experience in both the off premise and on premise industry sectors.
  • A high level of motivation, an ability to be a team player and work independently.
  • Experience in presenting and facilitating customer meetings.
