Position Purpose

Provide business‑analysis expertise to translate client and internal operational requirements into functional specifications, process improvements and data‑driven insights that enhance Alloy's robotics‑fleet intelligence platform. The role ensures that system functionality, project delivery and performance metrics align with commercial objectives and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Elicitation: Engage with external customers and internal stakeholders to gather, investigate and document business requirements for new platform features and operational enhancements.
• Process Analysis & Optimisation: Map existing workflows for robotics‑fleet management, identify inefficiencies, and recommend optimal business practices and system functionality to improve utilisation, uptime and cost metrics.
• Functional & Data Specifications: Produce clear functional specifications, data‑flow diagrams and acceptance criteria for software‑engineering and data‑science teams, ensuring traceability between business needs and technical deliverables.
• Project Planning & Management: Apply recognised project‑management methodologies to develop and maintain sprint plans, resource and cost estimates, and risk registers for each release cycle.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary conduit between customers, product management and technical teams to confirm that delivered solutions align with documented requirements and fleet‑level KPIs.
• Reporting & Dashboards: Design, build and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks that surface key operational metrics and actionable insights for multi‑robot deployments.
• Testing Support & Deployment: Coordinate system and user‑acceptance testing, validate outcomes against requirements, and assist in deployment planning to minimise operational disruption.
• Documentation & Training: Develop user guides, standard‑operating procedures and training materials; provide formal training sessions for end‑users and internal staff.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum two (2) years' professional experience in business analysis, systems analysis or operations analytics.
• Demonstrated capability in requirements gathering, workflow mapping, data analysis and process optimisation.
• Proficiency with SQL and business‑intelligence or dashboarding tools (e.g. Metabase, Tableau, Power BI).
• Familiarity with project‑management software and Agile delivery frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven stakeholder‑management ability.
• Understanding of machine‑learning operations (MLOps) and data‑pipeline design.
• Exposure to robotics, IoT or industrial‑automation environments.

Desirable Attributes

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud).
• Prior involvement in early‑stage start‑up operations.
