Customer Service Officers

Full-Time | Part-Time Monday–Friday

Osborne Park & Joondalup

The Furniture Gallery is seeking 2 or 3 dynamic Customer Service Officers to join our flagship Osborne Park and Joondalup teams. These roles are perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, are highly organised, and love solving problems with professionalism and grace.

What You'll Do

As the backbone of our operations, you'll:

  • Lead and manage customer orders, pre-orders, and after-sales care.
  • Handle customer conflict resolution with confidence and empathy.
  • Oversee special orders, refunds, credits, and supplier claims.
  • Liaise with the warehouse and suppliers to coordinate deliveries, repairs, and inspections.
  • Manage rosters, payroll queries, and other administrative tasks
  • Ensure compliance with Australian Consumer Law in all customer interactions.
  • Keep communication sharp and efficient across internal teams, customers, and suppliers.

What We're Looking for

  • 2+ years experience in customer service, preferably in retail or furniture industry, with demonstrated conflict resolution skills
  • Strong organisational and decision-making skills — cool under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid knowledge of Australian Consumer Law.
  • Proven ability to resolve conflict effectively.
  • Adaptability, initiative, and a hands-on approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Eligible to work in Australia (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)
  • Experience with POS systems and processing payments (training provided for specific systems)
  • Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills
