About the Role

As part of the Retention team within our Lotteries division, the Marketing Automation Specialist plays a key role in designing and delivering engaging customer experiences.

Using our marketing automation platform, Braze, you'll help drive retention through effective, data-driven campaigns across email, SMS and mail. You'll build personalised customer journeys, monitor campaign performance, and continuously optimise to achieve better outcomes.

You'll join a collaborative, cross-functional team where creativity, innovation, and shared success are at the heart of everything we do. We are commercial for a cause, operating in a results-focused sales culture and fuelled by ambitious growth plans.

What You'll Do

  • Create and manage omnichannel campaigns, with a focus on lifecycle and trigger-based communications that respond to customer behaviours
  • Build, test, and deploy highly personalised messages with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strategically use direct marketing to influence and enhance customer engagement
  • Partner with the team to unlock new data opportunities and platform capabilities
  • Apply data-led decision making and share findings with the team
  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert and champion for marketing automation best practices
  • Track, measure, and report on campaign performance against key goals

What You'll Bring

  • 3-5 years proven experience with marketing automation tools (experience with Braze is a bonus)
  • Strong grasp of customer lifecycle journeys and segmentation strategies
  • High attention to detail and precision in execution
  • Ability to juggle priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • A collaborative mindset and eagerness to work with cross-functional teams
