Australia Origin Energy Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year
  • 2on 2 off roster
  • Great Local opportunity with career development
  • Spring Gully or Reedy Creek based

Join a team that's All Kinds of Useful

At Origin, being useful is more than a tagline - it's how we approach work every day. As a collective, we're a team that thrives on finding better ways, working together, and owning our impact. From powering homes to delivering award-winning internet and helping to lead Australia's energy transition. If you're driven by purpose and excited to be part of something bigger, we'd love to have you on the journey.

About the role

We're looking for a motivated Site Administrator to join our Asset West team in Roma. In this vital on-site role, you'll provide efficient and effective administration support to our Field & Facility teams (up to 100 rotating personnel), helping keep daily operations running smoothly.

This role is only open to candidates living locally in the Roma region.

You'll act as the central point of contact for all site administration — ensuring tasks are completed with professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail. You'll also collaborate closely with our Asset East Administration team as part of a supportive, cross-asset network.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide a professional, welcoming first point of contact for site visitors and personnel.

  • Support daily site operations and assist management in the Site IOC.

  • Manage site inductions, personnel profiles, and access cards.

  • Coordinate travel, accommodation, and rosters using INX and DIMO systems.

  • Oversee key site assets (Red Radios, Fuel Tags, keys) and assist with technology needs.

  • Manage procurement activities, stock control, and assist with monthly reports (including Fuel Reconciliation).

  • Prepare documents, reports, and meeting minutes, and raise purchase requisitions.

  • Promote a strong culture of safety, sustainability, and inclusion across the site.

About you
You're organised, proactive, and thrive in a busy team environment. You take pride in your attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to get things done efficiently.

You'll bring:

  • Residence in the Roma region (this is an on-site role – not FIFO/DIDO).

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.

  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.

  • A proactive and solution-focused mindset.

  • Commitment to safety, compliance, and confidentiality

Why Origin?
At Origin, we're working to get energy right for our customers, communities, and planet — and that starts with supporting our people.

You'll enjoy:

  • A friendly, inclusive team culture.

  • Flexible work practices where possible.

  • Opportunities for learning and development.

  • The chance to make a real impact in your local community.
