We provide national leadership on the implementation of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and collaborate with the Australian and state and territory governments to:
- implement changes that benefit children birth to 13 years-of-age and their families
- monitor and promote the consistent application of the Education and Care Services National Law across all states and territories
- support the early childhood education and care sector to improve quality outcomes for children

The Role
The Quality Support Facilitator, Quality Support Program will focus on developing and delivering tailored professional learning and support to children's education and care services. Professional learning and support will be designed and delivered to support the building of each service's capability to meet or exceed the National Quality Standard (NQS) and the Children's Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations. The Quality Support Facilitator, Quality Support Program will also build and maintain culturally safe, collaborative, effective and genuine relationships with identified services and other relevant stakeholders to gain buy-in and commitment and to achieve program outcomes.
There are two roles available, both roles are full time and fixed-term (until 30 June 2026) at ACECQA Band 5 ($103,179 - $122,039).
About You
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Demonstrated experience in and contemporary knowledge of professional learning and support approaches within the children's education and care sector.
- Strong knowledge of and extensive experience in delivering children's education and care, the National Quality Framework and embedding quality improvement outcomes and compliance with legislation.
- Developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to research and interpret information and communicate effectively across a diverse range of audiences, including developing and delivering presentations, resources and online learning.
- Proven ability to develop collaborative, positive and productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and negotiate with confidence to support program outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to use a range of technologies and learn new systems quickly and efficiently.
- Tertiary qualifications in children's education and care, education and/or adult learning or an equivalent level of industry experience.
- Hold an applicable working with children check or have the ability to obtain one before employment.
- Based in NSW with convenient access to an airport
- Ability to undertake frequent travel including regional and remote locations and hold a full driver's licence.
While not essential, the following attributes will greatly assist you in the role:
- Experience working with multiple service types including, early childhood settings (long day care and preschools/kindergartens), family day care and outside school hours care settings.
- Qualifications, training and/or experience in mentoring/coaching practices.
