Built for you
As a Quality Engineer at Built, you will support and advise our Construction Projects to drive the implementation of "Built Right" principles and the Built Quality Management System to achieve great technical quality outcomes. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Bid-Phase Quality Reviews - advising on Quality Risk and developing actions for tenders you are assigned.
- Quality Design Reviews - providing advice to Design Teams on details and products to achieve quality.
- Project Quality Start-Up - educating projects on Built's Quality Management Systems, helping to prevent issues with critical high-risk trades and implementing and reporting on quality controls.
- Pre-Commencement Assessments - Review of contract documents, assisting Engineers with review of subcontractor quality documentation etc
- Undertaking on-site and off-site quality inspections and coaching Supervisors and Engineers
- Helping to establish a submissions process to track technical submissions, samples, warranties and approvals required by the contract documents - and helping review submissions for conformance.
- Non-conformances - review all non-conformances raised by project teams for continual improvement
- Defects - establish a process to record, track and manage defects for the life of the project
- Undertake Project QMS Audits and Assist with Audits of Fabricators and Subcontractors where necessary.
In this role you will be hands on with the ability to implement change and improve processes and contribute to the success of our project teams.

- Technical knowledge of how to build
- Significant experience and/or technical qualifications;
- Process orientated with an eye for detail;
- Solid experience in a Quality Assurance or related supervisory role in construction;
- Demonstrated understanding of relevant Construction Australian Standards and the Building Code of Australia
