Our client is an exciting Australasia market leader. Due to the ongoing success of the team brand new positions have been created for a Data Quality Specialist.

ROLEWe are looking for an analytical, delivery-oriented Data Quality Management professional who is able to work with stakeholders and leaders across the group to effectively identify, implement, remediate and data quality issues and incidents in support of a stream of work delivering Supply Chain advanced analytics capabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Data Quality Specialist your responsibilities will involve:

  • Drive product improvement and collaboration opportunities
  • Triage of Enterprise Data Quality issues impacting on the Supply Chain initiatives
  • Analyse data quality issues, collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate the determination of issue impact, root cause and solution options.
  • Establish DQ reporting to give visibility to business and escalate to DGC on enterprise data quality issues
  • Increase user adoption of data quality tools and processes

SKILLSTo be successful in this role you must be a seasoned and motivated Data Quality Specialist :

  • A number of years experience working in Data Management Practices, particularly in Data Quality
  • Experience with DQ tooling such as Ataccama
  • SQL- intermediate to advanced
  • Advanced understanding of data quality's value, user adoption strategies, and management
  • Strong technical skills in ETL, Data Governance, and Data Management
  • Strong cloud experience (GCP preferred, AWS or Azure acceptable)
  • Experience interpreting and analysing data and use of statistical tools
  • Stakeholder management and engagement with both business users and technology partners
  • Experience implementing data quality rules / business rules / data controls
