About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Accountant to join our finance team. This position plays a key role in maintaining compliance with accounting standards, preparing accurate financial reports, and supporting the effective financial management of our rapidly expanding operations.

Key Responsibilities:

l Maintain accurate financial records, general ledger reconciliations, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

l Prepare monthly and annual accounts, financial statements, and management reports for business performance monitoring.

l Assist in the preparation of statutory reports (BAS, GST, PAYG, FBT) and support external audits.

l Analyse financial performance, including revenue, expenses, margins, and budget variance, providing insights for management decisions.

l Develop cash flow forecasts and assist with financial planning to support business expansion.

l Operate and maintain ERP systems (SAP Business One) to streamline inventory and financial management.

l Conduct regular reconciliations and investigate variances to implement corrective actions for internal control.

l Manage payroll, superannuation, and employee entitlements in line with Australian workplace regulations.

l Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely collection and payment cycles.

l Monitor import/export trading transactions and inventory costs to ensure accurate reporting and effective cost control.

l Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and internal control procedures.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • 1–2 years' relevant professional accounting experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience in the use of ERP systems, ideally SAP Business One.
  • Native or professional proficiency in Mandarin (essential due to client and supplier base).
  • Working proficiency in English to meet compliance and reporting obligations.
  • Knowledge of payroll management and Australian taxation principles.
