Commercial Account Executive

Location: CBD, Perth

Salary: $90,000 + Super + WFH

About the role:

Join a dynamic and growing insurance broking team.

As a Client Executive, you will play a key role in supporting brokers, processing new business and renewals, and ensuring our clients' insurance programs are managed with accuracy, compliance and care. You'll report to a Senior Client Executive and collaborate closely with team members across broking operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process new business, endorsements, and renewals accurately, ensuring all documentation and client communications are thorough and precise.
  • Prepare and follow up quotations, liaising between clients, underwriters, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage policy maintenance and client documentation.
  • Support complaint handling, escalation, and resolution in line with internal dispute resolution requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and industry requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of client industries, insurance products, claims processes, and legislative obligations.
  • Collaborate with team members, assisting with general queries, ad-hoc tasks, and contributing positively to team initiatives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and internal processes.

About You

  • Tier 2 qualified and currently working toward Tier 1 accreditation.
  • Sound technical insurance and broking knowledge, including products, claims processes, and legislative obligations.
  • Confident with technology, particularly Microsoft Office and broking systems.
  • Customer-focused communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
  • Self-driven, organised, and capable of managing priorities independently.
  • Collaborative team member with a proactive mindset.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high accuracy standards.
