KBR is seeking a seasoned Senior People Manager to lead strategic people initiatives within our Australia Defence and Security Solutions (ADSS) business. This role is pivotal in aligning people strategies with business objectives to support growth and enhance workforce capabilities. The successful candidate will oversee the development and execution of people plans, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment legislation. As a key advisor to senior leadership, the Senior People Manager will provide expert guidance on HR and employee relations matters. This position offers the opportunity to influence organizational culture and drive innovation in people practices across a complex, mission-driven environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the People Business Partnering team, delivering business-facing support and generalist HR guidance.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement people plans aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Provide expert advice on HR/ER matters, including policy interpretation and procedural application.
  • Ensure people processes reflect KBR's values and comply with relevant legislation and internal governance standards.
  • Partner with cross-functional People Team units to deliver integrated solutions that support business needs.
  • Monitor and enforce governance controls to maintain compliance with legal and company requirements.
  • Contribute thought leadership to enhance people strategies and organizational effectiveness.
  • Support workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development initiatives.
  • Represent the People Team in strategic forums and contribute to shaping the future of the ADSS business.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in people business partnering roles.
  • Prior experience in a similar capacity within a global organization.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering strategic people solutions in complex or matrixed organizations.
  • Background in the Defence Industry.
  • Familiarity with employment legislation and governance frameworks in Australia.
