Your Next Opportunity

An excellent opportunity awaits an experienced Sales Manager to become a part of the Daimler Trucks Laverton team. The successful candidate will lead and manage the sales team, ensuring excellent customer service is being provided by the team while promoting a collaborative working relationship between Sales, Service and Parts departments.

This position will have a key focus on providing structure and strategy that drives market share and enhances gross profit and volume while, ensuring correct processes are in place to support an efficient and high performing Sales department.

About The Role:

  • Lead and support budgeting, forecasting and reporting requirements
  • Coach and guide sales consultants to ensure performance of KPI's and sales activities are completed
  • Act as an escalation point for customer matters and resolve accordingly.
  • Manage end-to-end deliveries to ensure vehicles go out as scheduled and customers are kept informed
  • Display a high level of safety leadership
  • Participating in WHS committees, completing showroom inspections, and ensuring team members have the correct training

About You:

  • Prior leadership experience in a sales focused role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to facilitate presentations
  • Experience with full P&L budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Exhibit a high degree of emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability building teams and setting expectations to deliver desired outcomes and results
  • Familiarity with relevant software, including Microsoft Office, customer relations, management system and dealer management systems
  • Time management and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines and close sales in a timely manner
  • Willingness to adapt and implement new marketing strategies and sales methods
  • Current unrestricted drivers' licence
