Our Government client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented APS2 Passport Production Officer to join their team in Darwin. If you have a strong customer service background, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a structured, fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you

This is a fantastic opportunity for those who thrive in roles that involve high-volume data entry, administrative support, and working with travel documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle and process a large volume of documents, including scanning, data entry, and document personalisation.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of travel document applications prior to final processing.
  • Perform quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with Australian standards.
  • Provide administrative support to ensure timely and accurate issuance of Australian travel documents.
  • Maintain high performance standards and meet key deadlines in line with the APO Performance Framework.

Key Requirements:

  • Essential:

  • Australian Citizenship (mandatory for eligibility).

  • Strong customer service experience (preferably in a legislative or structured environment).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with customers effectively.
  • Ability to work with numerical and written information.
  • Comfortable with repetitive tasks and high-volume workloads.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while also independently managing workload.
