DABSCO (Darwin Awning Blinds & Screen Company) has been helping Territorians build safer, cooler, and stronger homes since 1966. With almost 60 years of local service, we are a trusted supplier and installer of security screens, glass doors and windows, window coverings, and external awnings.

We are now seeking a Purchasing Officer to join our team.

About the Role

  • Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Purchasing Officer will:
  • Manage day-to-day purchasing activities across a broad product range
  • Source, negotiate, and liaise with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement
  • Raise and process purchase orders accurately and on time
  • Maintain stock levels to meet operational and project requirements
  • Monitor delivery schedules and supplier performance
  • Support inventory control and contribute to continuous improvements

About You

  • The ideal candidate will have:
  • Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Confidence with computer systems and business software
  • A proactive, team-focused approach and to be able to work in a fast paced busy office.
