We have an amazing opportunity for a motivated Mechanical Fitter within our Facade Access Division. Your main responsibility in this role will be to carry out installations, repairs, modernizations of Façade Access Equipment, Building Maintenance Units (BMU's) and related Height Safety Systems and will report directly to the Vic Service Manager – Façade Access Division

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Under guidance of Project Manager(s), carry out installation and mechanical assembly works for Façade Access and Height Safety Systems
• Assist in the commissioning and testing process of new Façade Access Equipemnt and associated Systems
• Under guidance of Vic Service Manager, perform detailed inspections on a wide range of Façade Access Equipment and Associated Systems
• Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, modernizations, and troubleshooting for Façade Access Equipment and Associated Systems.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of Alimak products, services, and tools.
• Adhere to Alimak Group's assessment policies and procedures.
• Conduct accurate risk assessments for each task.
• Receive and act upon supervisor feedback and appraisals.

Safety & Compliance:

• Familiarize yourself with Alimak Company's safety and risk assessment policies and procedures.
• Prioritize safety by avoiding injury and preventing harm to oneself and others.
• Proactively identify and report workplace hazards.
• Participate in safety meetings within your area.
• Report all incidents, even if you are not injured, to your manager.
• Collaborate with the company's safety initiatives and obligations.
• Follow safety instructions, procedures, and work instructions diligently.
• Adhere to the Code of Conduct and Group Values.
• Comply with company policies, objectives, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Maintain a safety-first approach while providing technical support in the Façade Access Division.
• This job requires a high level of attention to safety, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the efficient operation of BMUs and related equipment.

• Full working rights in Australia
• Current Driver's License
• Working at Heights Competency
• Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card)
• Dogman and/or Riggers Tickets (preferable)
