About the role

At Accel Service Group Pty Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Gas Service Technician with Type A servicing gas appliances to join our team in Melbourne, to help service our expanding clients in Melbourne's western suburbs. As a full-time team member, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality gas servicing and maintenance to our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing scheduled and emergency gas appliance servicing and maintenance
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting gas-related issues, and implementing appropriate solutions
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant gas safety regulations and industry standards
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to service activities
  • Providing excellent customer service and technical advice to clients
  • Collaborating with the broader team to enhance service delivery and workflow processes

What we're looking for

  • Formal qualifications in gas fitting or a relevant trade, such as a Certificate III in Plumbing & Gas fitting.
  • Extensive experience (3+ years) as a gas service technician, with a strong understanding of gas appliances and systems
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and troubleshoot gas-related issues efficiently and effectively
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly
  • A commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail to ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards
  • A valid driver's licence
