Join NSWCIS as the Primary Sport Operations Manager and lead the delivery of high-quality primary school sport programs across NSW's independent sector. A great opportunity for an experienced sport administrator or educator to make an impact in a respected, not-for-profit organisation.
About the Organisation
NSWCIS (CIS) aims to advance and support the holistic education of all students attending independent schools by providing the framework through which those students can pursue a representative pathway to State and National sporting competition as an athlete or official; both within the independent school sector and between CIS and other NSW education sectors, thereby leading to enhanced educational outcomes for the students.
CIS also aims to provide the opportunity for staff of schools to enhance their skills by taking up representative positions as Team Officials at State and National sporting competitions. Representing more than 400 schools and offering pathways across 20+ sports, NSWCIS coordinates high-quality representative opportunities for thousands of students each year.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Primary Sport Operations Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of all NSWCIS Primary Sport programs, trials, and representative pathways.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver all aspects of CIS Primary Sport programs, including the annual calendar, event logistics, and representative team management.
Ensure compliance with risk management, safety, and child protection requirements across all events.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with Association delegates, NSW All Schools, NSWPSSA, and all participating primary schools.
Provide professional support to the Primary Associations Management Committee & other working groups.
Work collaboratively with the Secondary School Sport Operations Manager and the Secondary & Primary Sport Administrators to ensure efficient systems, communication, and workflow across the organisation.
Ensure all operations are aligned with NSWCIS policies, procedures, and Codes of Conduct.
- Contribute to the ongoing review and development of operational policies and guidelines.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 3-5 years demonstrated experience in school sport management or sport administration and event coordination.
 - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
