The HR Operations team at CSPD is seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven HR Operations Officer to join our hard working and friendly HR Operations Team on a temporary full time basis until the end of the year

About the Opportunity

Our HR Operations Officers are essential to delivering high-quality People & Culture services, with a particular focus on employee relations and workforce initiatives across the organisation.

In this role, you will contribute to a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Respond to employee service queries and manage tier one and two support requests via the ticketing system
  • Assist with employee services such as onboarding, document requests, employment forms, and data updates
  • Support fortnightly payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS and ensure compliance with enterprise agreements and legislation
  • Contribute to P&C projects, process improvements, and administrative support tasks

About You

  • Strong communication and organisational skills with a solutions-focused approach
  • Sound knowledge of HR systems and processes
  • Strong attention to detail and proactivity
  • Ability to interpret and apply Enterprise Agreements and relevant employment legislation
  • A current Working With Children Check (Paid Employee)
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or a related field (desirable)
