About us

Mind Health Collective,a boutique psychology private practice in North Strathfield, is looking for a part-time Receptionist to join our administrative team, align client experiences with our core values, and manage the development of successful client interactions. You will play a key role in aligning every client interactions with the practice's values of empathy, respect, confidentiality, and excellence in care.

About the Role

As the first point of contact for clients and referrers, you will provide professional and compassionate service while managing a broad range of administrative duties.

Reporting directly to Clinic Operations Manager, some of your responsibilities will include

  • Providing excellent customer service and welcoming and meeting clients
  • Answering and making phone calls and following up on messages
  • Responding to scheduling + general information emails
  • Communicating with individual clinician with scheduling changes that will occur within 12 hours
  • Liaising with client and referrers
  • Completing client intake forms, scheduling appointments
  • Receiving payment and processing Medicare or Private Health Claims
  • Ad-hoc admin duties including filing, sending emails/ faxes, dishes and water filter

The successful candidate will have

  • Previous experience in a similar receptionist/administration role
  • Experience in the healthcare industry
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional phone manner
  • Strong computer skills
  • Previous experience using Zanda practice software -desirable
  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • A strong, energetic personality with the ability to use initiative

  • Understanding of NDIS/WorkCover processes and requirements - desirable

This is a part-time role, we require the successful applicant to work (3 days) a week, with the flexibility of increasing or decreasing hours/days occasionally.

Please note this position does not suit school hours only or working from home - our reception staff are required to be on site to manage clients arriving in person.
