Library Officer

An excellent opportunity exists for highly motivated and enthusiastic Customer Service professionals to join our Library team.
In this role, you will provide high-level customer service to members of the community, Council staff, and fellow Library staff through the delivery of quality library services. You will be part of a supportive team dedicated to creating a welcoming and inclusive library environment for people of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service to library users
- Assist with general administrative and clerical duties
- Support the day-to-day operations of the library
- Engage with community members of all ages in a helpful and respectful manner
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated commitment to and enthusiasm for customer service
- A current Working with Children Check
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with people of all ages
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A current Driver's Licence
- A current National Police Check
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- Previous library skills & experience (desirable)
