Gym General Manager Sales, Systems

You'll own the front end of growth (leads → trials → members), keep retention strong, and lead a mixed team of coaches and front-desk/admin. You'll work confidently in our CRM to move leads through pipelines, keep notes/tasks up to date, and communicate clearly with members, staff, and partners.
What you'll do- Drive sales: Speed-to-lead, trial conversion, reactivations, referrals, local partnerships.
- Lift retention: Member relationships, save-plays, milestones/celebrations, reviews.
- Lead the team: Hire, roster, coach, and hold a mixed team to clear standards.
- Run the rhythm: Daily huddles, weekly priorities, clean handovers/open–close.
- Work the CRM: Keep pipelines clean, next actions set, follow-ups done.
- Manage partners: Brief and quality-check marketing/content/ads agencies.
- Be the face: Floor presence that builds trust, community, and word of mouth.
- Prep for scale: Help document how we win so it's repeatable across sites.
- Are a seasoned sales operator (fitness, hospitality, retail memberships, or similar).
- Have backbone: calm under pressure, direct communicator, high accountability.
- Are systems-minded: you keep things organised and consistent.
- Are comfortable in a CRM (moving leads, notes, tasks) and reading basic reports.
- Build relationships naturally, members know you, staff trust you, partners respect you.
- Lead from the front and handle tough conversations well.
- Prior gym/studio management or S&C background
- Turnaround or new-site launch experience
- Real autonomy to build the team and day-to-day rhythm
