We are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our International Human Resources team as Senior HR Assistant.

As the HR Office based in our Melbourne office, you will add immediate value by providing support to line managers in the areas of employee relations, compensation and benefits, leadership development, performance management, and talent management. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced environment in a leading Aviation group to contribute to our continued development and evolution.

Accountabilities:

  • Support HR Manager and HR Team with the day-to-day administration of all HR functions including recruiting, employee relations, benefits, compensation and special projects as needed.
  • Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions. Provide advice and guidance to employees on personnel policies and contractual obligations.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality with all work.
  • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by Head of Department
  • Prepare paperwork for staff recruitment, confirmation, promotion, re-designation, salary revision and termination.
  • Prepare and maintain new employee files and process documents of new joining staff.
  • Maintain employee leave records and update HR employee database change.
  • Conducts and reconciles benefits enrolment for new employees.
  • Liaise with the Finance department in payroll preparation and reconciliations.
  • Write staff vacancy notices and press adverts by going through specification and obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Assist with conducting New Hire Orientation and prepare onboarding

  • Minimum relevant Vocational, Tertiary or Trade qualification
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in an HR or Admin role
  • Experience in large multinational environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment law and other government compliance regulations

You must be authorized to work lawfully in the Australia. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
