We are seeking an Senior Planner to join a leading organisation within the FMCG industry. This role is based in Western Sydney and is a hybrid role focusing on managing supply chain operations to optimise efficiency and meet customer demands.

Description

  • Develop and manage supply plans to ensure product availability while optimising inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to align supply chain activities with business goals.
  • Monitor and analyse demand forecasts to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and supply chain performance metrics.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Work closely with external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates for stakeholders on supply chain performance.
  • Support the development and execution of contingency plans to address supply chain disruptions.

Profile

A successful Senior Planner should have:

  • Experience in supply chain management or planning within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in supply chain management tools or software.
  • Knowledge of procurement and inventory management processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • A degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
