The Position
Ella Baché is seeking a Trade Marketing Executive to join our dynamic team to drive growth across Australia's leading Salon and Department Store Network .
Reporting to the Head of Brand Communications and Digital, you will play a key role in planning and executing multichannel trade marketing campaigns. Additionally, you will develop and implement marketing plans for new salon franchises, attracting new partners to grow our network.
In this role, you will work closely with internal teams, salon partners, and key retailers to drive national and local marketing campaigns, customer activations, NPD support, and annual planning. You will collaborate cross-functionally with sales, brand, studio, operations, and external partners to ensure brand consistency and deliver impactful trade marketing strategies.
With a strong focus on end-to-end project and campaign management, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring best-in-class execution, helping Ella Baché stand out as a market leader and delivering measurable impact across our trade channels.

Founded in France in 1936 by Madame Baché, Ella Baché is one of the world's oldest family-owned skincare companies and today stands as a leading skincare brand in the Australian market. We operate a national franchise salon network and a renowned beauty school, with our products available through salons, David Jones, our own eCommerce store, and leading online retailers.
Responsibilities
As the Trade Marketing Executive, you will play a pivotal role in implementing national campaigns across all trade assets and executing trade marketing initiatives. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, along with strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management to drive salon and retail channel growth. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing POS materials, displays, and merchandising solutions across all trade channels, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and on budget.
- Lead end-to-end project management of trade marketing campaigns, including timelines, budgets, stakeholder communication, and execution.
- Develop and implement Local Area Digital Marketing programs (e.g., Meta and Google Ads) to drive customer engagement and sales using data-driven insights.
- Plan and execute marketing strategies for new salon franchises, supporting recruitment of new partners and growth of the salon network.
- Report on trade activation performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimise growth.
- Serve as the key point of contact for partners, ensuring best-in-class execution.
- Adapt marketing toolkits for local markets, ensuring alignment with regional needs and standards.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams, retail partners, and marketing colleagues to maintain brand consistency and maximise exposure.
- Monitor trends, analyse campaign performance, and introduce innovative ideas to improve results year over year.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in trade marketing or a related field such as sales or customer service, preferably within retail, franchising or beauty brands.
- Tertiary qualification (or equivalent) in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Strong project management skills, with proven ability to plan, execute, and oversee trade marketing campaigns while managing multiple priorities.
- Experience in budget management and campaign reporting, delivering insights that inform and optimise future activity.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns and go-to-market launch plans.
- Demonstrated success collaborating with external partners, including digital agencies, web development teams, print suppliers, and brand collaborations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting, presenting, and stakeholder management.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Experience supporting or working with franchise networks is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in digital marketing strategy, platforms, and analytics, including Meta, Google Ads, GA4, and TikTok.
- Familiarity with technology tools to manage website UX/CX, CRM, project management platforms, and email marketing systems.
