The position:

The Property Manager is responsible for the management and maintenance of residential properties to the satisfaction of the owners, tenants and management.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • The day-to-day management of a portfolio of residential rental properties.
  • Liaising with tenants, landlords, and contractors.
  • Preparation of tenancy agreements, undertaking rent reviews, and other tenancy related tasks.
  • Conducting routine inspections and preparing ingoing and outgoing condition reports.
  • At times, conducting viewings of rental properties for prospective tenants
  • Developing a thorough understanding of property management software and associated processes.
  • Various other administrative duties as required.

In this position you must maintain an exceptional customer focus towards both owners and tenants, as well as the overall service levels expected within the office. Working in a team environment, the individual will be expected to demonstrate an ability to work as an enthusiastic team member in accordance with the office's policies, procedures and service standards.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience as a Property Manager, have strong administrative ability, as well as the ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships whilst working proactively and collaboratively within our professional team.

Additionally, the successful candidate should possess the following:

  • Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A current drivers' license and a reliable vehicle (essential)
  • An ACT real estate Certificate of Registration
  • A passion for providing exceptional customer service
  • Professional presentation

Remuneration is negotiable commensurate with work hours and experience. An attractive package with the opportunity for bonus payments is available. Option for part-time hours. Use of a work provided and maintained vehicle is also available.
