About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Director of our Banyule Nillumbik Tech School to lead a cutting-edge centre of educational excellence and innovation. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and strategic growth of the Tech School, ensuring high-quality programs andstakeholder relationships.

This role involves working closely with partner secondary schools, industry, and community stakeholders to deliver STEAM-focused programs that promote discovery, innovation, and real-world learning for secondary students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Tech School's operations, programs, and stakeholder engagement
  • Develop and manage innovative STEAM education programs aligned with VCAA requirements
  • Build strong partnerships with schools, industry, and community groups
  • Advocate for young learners and promote 21st-century learning skills
  • Monitor compliance, quality standards, and continuous improvement
  • Report on performance and engagement to support strategic decision-making
  • Design and manage events such as exhibitions, seminars, and collaborative projects
Skills and Experience Required
  • Degree or postgraduate qualification in a relevant field
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Expertise in STEAM and inquiry-based education
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • High-level analytical, problem-solving, and operational management capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Additional Requirements

Successful candidate will be required to provide:

  • A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • A National Police Check
