Job Description

The Senior Website Optimisation Manager serves as the marketing lead for our website, experimentation, and personalisation strategies. As a senior leader within the B2C marketing team, you are responsible for designing, testing, and scaling acquisition journeys that convert visitors into high-quality leads and patients, working in close collaboration with our product team.

You drive measurable improvements in conversion rates, cost efficiency, and engagement by combining creativity with data-led decision making. Working closely with paid media, product, technology, and data. You own the marketing roadmap for experimentation, support the rollout of personalisation strategies, and ensure our website consistently delivers best-in-class patient experiences for new users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop & Manage Marketing Segmentation Playbook: Build and evolve acquisition audience segments that combine behavioural, demographic, and predictive data, enabling precise targeting and meaningful measurement across all digital channels.
  • Scale Personalisation Across Channels: Deliver personalised experiences across web, SEM, Meta, and other paid media, delivering real time 1:1 journeys to improve user engagement.
  • Optimise the Marketing Funnel: Map and refine user flows from ad click through to landing page, reducing friction and ensuring each interaction builds trust and credibility.
  • Collaborate on CRO Strategy & Execution for Marketing: Influence the conversion optimisation roadmap across paid media channels and the website (in collaboration with product), identifying and executing A/B and multivariate tests to drive measurable improvements in conversion rates.
  • Champion Data-Driven Decision Making: Translate analytics and experimentation results into actionable insights, sharing learnings widely to inform creative development, campaign optimisation, and product enhancements.
  • Influence Martech & Experience Stack: Partner with product, data, and engineering teams to influence and enhance the Martech stack (CRO platforms, CDP, personalisation engines) to enable testing velocity, scalability, and compliance in a cookieless world.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with paid media, CRM, product, creative, and data teams to integrate CRO and personalisation insights into full funnel campaigns.
  • Track & Report on Impact: Establish clear KPIs (conversion rates, CLTV, retention uplift, experimentation velocity) and regularly communicate progress and results to senior leadership.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years in experimentation, segmentation, personalisation, and digital experience roles within direct-to-consumer businesses, with a strong track record of delivering measurable commercial impact.
  • Demonstrated success in driving growth for fast-paced, high-scale businesses, with the ability to prioritise effectively and execute autonomously.
  • Deep expertise in leading experimentation programs, building segmentation frameworks, engagement playbooks and implementing personalisation strategies across digital channels.
  • Hands-on experience with VWO (web testing platform) and Insider (personalisation & journey orchestration tool), leveraging their capabilities to optimise customer journeys.
  • Have advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, modelling, forecasting). Hands-on experience with Looker and GA4 for performance analysis and reporting (SQL is a plus).
  • Results-oriented approach with strong commercial acumen, linking experimentation and personalisation directly to acquisition, CAC payback, and CLTV. Comfortable owning all forecasting and modelling for key initiatives.
  • Skilled at collaborating with marketing, product, engineering, and data teams to deliver integrated, high-impact campaigns and journeys.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, working with minimal oversight, and thriving in environments where priorities shift quickly.
