Bookkeeper / Accounts Officer

Launceston, Tasmania, Australia Turner Stillhouse Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

In this role as a 3rd party contract Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for all bookkeeping and accounts, and will offer support to our distillery sales and production teams.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Preparing and processing documentation related to accounts payable and accounts receivable

  • Reconciling invoices and dispatching payments

  • Reconciling and managing monthly stocktakes and all inventory.

  • Preparing all aspects of sale reconciliation including cash, credit card, eftpos and online payments

  • Recording and analysing expenditure and receipts

  • Preparing and reporting on inventory for purposes of alcohol Excise tax

  • Preparing and processing payroll, BAS, and other ATO reports.

  • Other duties as directed by the relevant manager including budget forecasting/reconciliation and the potential for some financial modeling.

Our new Bookkeeper will have:

 Bookkeeping experience in Xero ESSENTIAL with strong experience in the above

finance duties.

 Strong administration skills and attention to detail.

 Experience with managing inventory and stock reconciliations (experience in Vinsight

– highly advantageous)

 Experience in alcohol manufacturing/industry is highly advantageous.
