About the role

McKillop Insurance Brokers is growing and as a result we're looking for an Internal Account Manager to join our team in Launceston, Tasmania. This role could be full time or part time for the right person who will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage a portfolio of existing commercial and personal insurance clients from renewals through to claims
  • Liaise with clients to understand their unique insurance needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Prepare and process renewal documentation, policy amendments, and other client correspondence
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and account information
  • Serve as a primary contact for day-to-day client inquiries and requests
  • Collaborating with the team, demonstrating the principle that Together Everyone Achieves More
  • Provide exceptional customer service, building positive and productive relationships

What we're looking for

  • ANZIIF Tier 1 accreditation
  • General insurance broking experience - ideally across retail and wholesale products
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with clients at all levels
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment
  • Ability to use initiative, be results driven and motivated by a genuine desire to achieve the best outcomes for McKillops and our valued clients
  • Experience with Sunrise/Insurer Portals and MS Office
