Lab Constructions are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Carpenter to join our building team as a subcontractor on our residential construction sites across Melbourne, with a strong focus on the Bayside and Mornington Peninsula areas.

As a Qualified Carpenter, you'll be responsible for the full range of carpentry duties and will play a key role in delivering our high-quality residential projects. This is a full-time sub-contracting position, offering consistent work, competitive rates, and the chance to be part of a reputable and growing building company.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Carry out all aspects of residential carpentry – frame, lockup and fix
  • Interpret and work from plans and specifications
  • Collaborate with site managers and other trades to ensure smooth workflow
  • Maintain a safe and clean worksite in line with OHS requirements
  • Work effectively as part of a small, skilled team
Skills & Experience Required
  • Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent trade qualification)
  • Proven experience in residential carpentry (renovations, extensions, and new builds)
  • Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings/plans
  • White Card, ABN, driver's licence, and own tools essential
  • Reliable, motivated, and a team player
