Are you a qualified carpenter looking for an opportunity to progress in a growing business? Do you want a great place to work, plenty of scope to learn, have fun & work on interesting projects?
Tool Property Services specialise in a wide variety of carpentry projects including high-end residential, commercial and all aspects of building maintenance. We have plenty of work in the pipeline currently, and have big plans for 2025/2026.
Based in the north-eastern suburbs, but work is all over metropolitan Melbourne.
Qualified Carpenter (Sub-Contractor):
We are looking for a confident qualified carpenter who can be relied on to work with the team but also autonomously. Applicant must be able to problem solve & handle multiple small jobs at a time. Consistent on-going work is available and preferred but flexible arrangements on a project by project basis is also on offer.
Key responsibilities:
- Confident carpenter looking to progress
- Perform carpentry duties to a high standard, implementing best practice at all times
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers and colleagues
- Read and interpret working drawings
- Apply workplace health and safety requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry
- Assist in the provision of on-the-job training (including mentoring/supporting apprentices and/or developing employees)
Requirements and renumeration:
- Must have a drivers licence + reliable vehicle (Able to travel all across Melbourne)
- Must have a full tool kit
- Must be reliable, punctual and professional
- Must work well in a team environment and independently
- Must have a willingness to learn and assist in supporting other employees
- Must have own ABN + insurance
- Proof of carpentry qualification
- Negotiated hourly rate $ reflective of skills, experience, tools & vehicle
