About the role

Building Integrity, a leading construction company based in Melbourne VIC 3000, is seeking a Qualified Carpenter to join our team. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality construction projects across the region.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform skilled carpentry tasks such as framing, roofing, and finish work
  • Read and interpret plans and specifications to ensure work is completed to standard
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate work and meet deadlines
  • Assist in the installation of fixtures, fittings, and other building components
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs as needed

What we're looking for

  • Formal carpentry qualification or equivalent experience
  • Strong practical skills and experience in residential and/or commercial construction
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
