DPV Construction is our bespoke building company, based in Box Hill South. Known for its commitment to high-end finishes and quality details, our team of skilled carpenters and long-standing trade partners specialise in renovations, luxury extensions, and intricate carpentry.  With a "yes, absolutely" attitude, we ensure consistent quality across all projects & a seamless and enjoyable building experience for both staff and clients

About the role

In this role, our ideal Carpenter will focus on high-quality workmanship in every project, representing DPV Construction's commitment to quality and client satisfaction.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • performing daily carpentry tasks (including demolition framing and finishing)
  • collaborating with other carpenters, apprentices & the site supervisor to ensure smooth project progress and timeline adherence
  • guiding/training our junior carpenters to develop their skills & expertise
  • following on-site safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all
  • maintaining and transporting personal carpentry tools
  • ensuring reliable travel to various job sites in the Eastern Suburbs.

What we're looking

  • Full Australian working rights or permanent residency essential
  • Cert II or III in Carpentry or similar + current White Card essential
  • Min. 3 years previous Qualified Carpenter experience essential
  • 2 years Leading Hand Carpenter experience
  • Proven knowledge of building codes, construction techniques and quality standards
  • Ability to effectively lead & develop a team of carpenters
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients & other stakeholders.
