Primary objective

Support the implementation of the Rehabilitation and Reintegration Framework by coordinating project activities, stakeholder

engagement, and reporting. Assist in the development of culturally safe, trauma-informed rehabilitation initiatives in custodial settings.

Ensure project tasks are delivered on time and in alignment with strategic and operational priorities.

Context statement

The Rehabilitation and Reintegration Framework provides a strategic, evidence-informed approach to reducing recidivism and supporting

successful transitions from custody to community. It aligns with the NT Department of Corrections Strategic Plan 2024–2028 and

prioritises evidenced-based rehabilitation and culturally informed programs.

Key duties and responsibilities

1. Assist in coordinating project activities, timelines, and deliverables to support implementation of the Rehabilitation and Reintegration

Framework.

2. Contribute to the preparation of reports, briefings, and correspondence for internal and external stakeholders.

3. Support stakeholder engagement processes, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and documenting outcomes.

4. Assist in the collection, analysis, and presentation of data to inform policy and program development.

5. Maintain project documentation, registers, and tracking systems to ensure accurate reporting and accountability.

6. Provide administrative and logistical support for contract and procurement processes in line with NT Government requirements.

7. Monitor risks and issues and escalate as required to ensure timely resolution and continuity of project delivery.

Selection criteria

Essential

1. Demonstrated experience supporting project coordination, scheduling, reporting, and delivery in a government or community context.

  1. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear documentation and engage with diverse

stakeholders.

  1. Demonstrated experience managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines within a structured project environment.

  2. Experience using research and data to inform project activities and decision-making.

  3. Proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and across agencies.

  4. Demonstrated experience in procurement and contract management processes.
  5. Demonstrated experience in project documentation and use of registers and tracking systems to report on activities and outcomes.

Desirable

1. Relevant qualifications in project management or related field.
