The Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA) is the peak business organisation representing manufacturers and suppliers of quality dental products. We provide industry leadership, professional support, and innovative events that connect and engage dental professionals across Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team and contribute to high-profile national events that shape the dental sector.
Your Role:
As an Events Coordinator, you will work closely with the Director of Events to deliver a range of important initiatives, including:
- Support the planning and execution of ADX Dental Expo in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, as well as Dental Symposiums in other states.
- Organise Board Meetings, State Branch Meetings, Online Member Forums, and Women in Dentistry Events.
- Organise other in-person and online events as required.
- Coordinate event logistics, including venue management, catering, travel arrangements, and schedules.
- Liaise with vendors, sponsors, and partners to ensure smooth and professional event delivery.
- Provide on-site event support, managing staff, schedules, and any on-the-day issues.
- Contribute to post-event evaluation and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Process membership applications and maintain accurate member records.
- Support office operations and general administration as required.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience in event coordination or management, ideally within industry associations, professional institutes, or not-for-profit organisations.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities effectively.
- High-level written and oral communication skills, including the ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience with event software and CRM systems, project management software, and Xero is highly desirable.
- Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Professional, proactive, and positive approach to challenges.
