Hayashi is a premier Japanese dining destination in Perth, offering authentic cuisine in a refined atmosphere. We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Restaurant Manager to lead our team, drive operational excellence, and enhance our customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth coordination between kitchen and front-of-house teams.
  • Lead and mentor staff to maintain excellent service standards and uphold Japanese dining etiquette.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Work closely with the culinary team to curate seasonal menus and introduce innovative dishes.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize inventory management to maximize profitability.
  • Enforce high standards of food safety, hygiene, and compliance with health regulations.
  • Plan and execute marketing initiatives to boost brand visibility, including special events and promotions.
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate employees, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a manager in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Experience managing a Japanese restaurant or strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and dining culture is highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Proven track record in financial management, cost control, and revenue growth strategies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
