About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Hospitality Trainer to deliver face-to-face classes for the Certificate III in Hospitality. You'll work closely with learners, sharing your industry knowledge to develop confident, job-ready front-of-house professionals. This is a unique opportunity to create a training experience that's practical, engaging, and connected to real-world outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and practical training sessions aligned with SIT30622 Certificate III in Hospitality
  • Support and assess learners across both theory and hands-on components, with a focus on food and beverage service
  • Provide timely feedback and maintain accurate student records and assessments
  • Assist with local business engagement to help students secure placements and employment opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local venues to support industry partnerships

About You

You're passionate about hospitality and ready to make a difference through training. Whether you're an experienced trainer or a hospitality leader looking to transition into education, we want to hear from you.

Essential:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience in hospitality, ideally in front-of-house, food and beverage, or café service
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage learners from diverse backgrounds
  • Organised, proactive, and excited to contribute to a growing team and vision

Desirable:

  • Previous experience delivering Certificate III in Hospitality or similar qualifications
  • Existing connections with Gold Coast hospitality venues or industry networks
